BACHELOR PROGRAM IN CIRCUS

The BA level Programme at CCCC is structured as a three-year, full-time education combining physical training, artistic creation, theoretical reflection, and professional preparation.

The programme offers training across a wide range of circus disciplines, with a strong emphasis on both cultivating and challenging each discipline - artistically, technically, and conceptually. We work in close collaboration with other artistic fields such as dance, theatre, and music, and aim to create a learning environment where artistic boundaries can be explored and questioned.

At CCCC, students are encouraged to explore their full creative and physical potential. We support the development of both technical skills and artistic practice, and we aim to strengthen students' ability to reflect, take initiative, and contribute to contemporary performing arts - as solo artists and as part of collective processes.

How to apply - The application Process

The program is built around five interconnected areas that recur throughout the 3 years with increasing complexity and responsibility:
  • Circus – Body and Movement

  • Creation and Artistic Methods

  • Subject Related Foundations (theory, context, safety, reflection)

  • Project Work (independent and collaborative)

  • Entrepreneurship and Professional Practice

CCCC's Pedagogical Approach:

During the Bachelor Program, theory and academic perspectives are integrated through practice. We experiment with pedagogical formats, and methods of feedback and documentation.

As a newly established circus education, CCCC is committed to facilitating a learning environment that equips each student to take responsibility for their own learning process. Students are encouraged to actively shape their artistic development through inquiry, experimentation and self-directed practice.
